Director of Communications – Australia Region

About the Role:

We are seeking a senior communications leader to oversee Australia operations from Abu Dhabi. This role will drive strategic communications, manage protocol, and handle crisis communications, ensuring all initiatives align with organizational objectives and regional priorities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of regional strategic communications plans to enhance visibility, influence, and stakeholder engagement in Australia.
  • Ensure protocol compliance for official organizational interactions and engagements.
  • Direct crisis communications planning and response, managing reputational risk and media escalation effectively.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Australian media, government, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communications strategy, messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor regional trends and developments in Australia to proactively adjust communications strategies and priorities.


Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in senior communications, public affairs, or media leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in strategic communications, protocol management, and crisis communications.
  • Strong network and understanding of the Australian media, government, and stakeholder landscape.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
