POSITION PURPOSE
This position serves as the primary compliance and quality assurance director, with overall responsibility for managing internal incident reporting, policies and procedures, and training.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
· Investigate all allegations of Abuse, Neglect, and/or Exploitation and submit all reports in a timely manner, meeting state deadlines
· Maintain internal record of all reports
· Be available 24/7 to receive reports and conduct investigations
· Track and analyze incidents looking for trends and make recommendations on how to avoid future incidents
· Monitor compliance with SGL and SL (Medicaid Waiver) standards. Assure compliance with all regulatory entities including FSSA/BDDS, CARF, DOL, and CMS.
· Be an active member of the Human Rights Committee
· Assist Chief Human Resources Officer in addressing the training needs of agency staff
· Serve as agency designee to accrediting bodies
· Other duties as assigned
REPORTS TO Chief Executive Officer
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
5 years' experience working in the ID/DD field is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work independently and have high organizational skills. Bending, walking, and stooping, as well as lifting up to 50 pounds to assist clients as needed. CPR/AED & First Aid certification required.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
