Director of Cross-Border M&A and Alliances

Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented leader to drive our global growth through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances. The Director of Cross-Border M&A and Alliances will oversee end-to-end deal execution, from opportunity identification to integration, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: Define and execute the company’s cross-border M&A and alliance strategy in line with corporate growth priorities.
• Deal sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and pursue acquisition and partnership opportunities across international markets.
• Due diligence: Lead comprehensive financial, operational, and legal assessments to mitigate risks and maximize value.
• Negotiation: Drive negotiations with target companies, investors, and partners to secure favorable terms.
• Integration management: Oversee post-merger integration, ensuring cultural alignment, operational efficiency, and synergy realization.
• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, legal, finance, and business units to ensure seamless execution.
• Market intelligence: Monitor global industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, or investment banking, with a focus on cross-border transactions.
• Strong track record of leading complex deals from origination to integration.
• Deep understanding of international business practices, regulatory frameworks, and cultural dynamics.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Pay: QAR185.00 - QAR295.00 per hour
