Director of Crusader Media

Position Overview
The Director of Crusader Media & Theatre Revenue is responsible for developing, launching, and scaling revenue-generating initiatives through Saint Louis School’s media and theatre programs. This role leads the strategic use of campus facilities - particularly the theatre - by building community partnerships, booking performances and rentals, and creating innovative programming that drives sustainable income.
This position focuses on entrepreneurial thinking, business development, and community outreach while establishing the operational foundation, systems, and long-term strategy needed to grow the program beyond the initial contract period.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Strategic Planning
- Serve as the primary driver of revenue through media, theatre, and facility-based programming.
- Develop and present a comprehensive 5-year business plan with revenue projections, growth strategies, and sustainability goals.
- Brainstorm, evaluate, and implement innovative income-producing ideas aligned with school mission and community demand.
- Identify and pursue partnerships with artists, production companies, organizations, and vendors.
Facility Use, Rentals & Community Engagement
- Actively promote and advocate for the use of Saint Louis School facilities within the broader community.
- Secure theatre bookings and rental agreements for performances, rehearsals, and special events.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, scheduling, and execution of events.
- Define and document theatre capabilities, including technical capacity, programming possibilities, and rental guidelines.
Program Leadership & Operations
- Oversee Crusader Media programming, including media production and theatre operations.
- Establish workflows, systems, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all program and rental activities.
- Create scalable processes that support growth, efficiency, and consistency.
- Continuously assess and refine systems to support expanding operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in media production, theatre management, arts administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation, business development, or entrepreneurial program growth.
- Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to create and implement SOPs, workflows, and long-term operational plans.
- Comfortable engaging with community partners, artists, and external organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and external partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on revenue generation and program growth.
