Director of Cyber Security

Juno is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Director to lead enterprise security for a fast-moving, mission-critical logistics organization. In this role, you’ll ensure technology and information assets are secure while enabling business operations to run smoothly. This is a high-visibility, player/coach role partnering closely with IT leadership to balance operational excellence with strategic security initiatives. This role will sit on-site 5x a week in West Chester, PA.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and evolve the enterprise security program across on-prem Windows & Linux environments
  • Drive incident response readiness and manage escalation processes
  • Oversee SOC, EDR, and vendor-supported security operations (Rapid7, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Okta)
  • Strengthen vulnerability management and identity/access governance
  • Build and maintain security policies, playbooks, and operational documentation
  • Deliver quarterly board-level reporting on security posture and trends
  • Lead security awareness programs enterprise-wide


First 90 Days Focus

  • Drive measurable improvements in incident readiness, detection coverage, and vulnerability remediation
  • Establish playbooks, procedures, and repeatable security processes
  • Strengthen identity governance and access controls
  • Partner with leadership to report and communicate security performance


What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in IT (systems, infrastructure, or networking), 5+ years in cybersecurity leadership
  • Hands-on experience in incident response, vulnerability management, and identity security
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and MSSPs effectively
  • Strong communication skills for executive and board reporting
  • Familiarity with enterprise security tools (SOC, EDR, IAM)
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or OSCP preferred


This role is ideal for a player-coach leader who can strengthen operational security while helping shape longer-term modernization initiatives.
