About the Role:


As the Director of our DMC in Oman, you are not just leading a team you are orchestrating magical journeys, shaping Oman’s tourism landscape, and bringing the Sultanate to life for travelers from every corner of the globe.


You are the architect of experiences, the master of

contracts, and the visionary behind products that make Oman unforgettable.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership & Vision:


  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the DMC to position Oman as a top

luxury and cultural travel destination.

  • Monitor global tourism trends and competitor activities, using insights to

innovate offerings.

  • Set long-term objectives, KPIs, and growth plans for all DMC functions.

Product Development & Management:


  • Design, develop, and enhance a diverse portfolio of travel products, including

luxury tours, adventure experiences, cultural journeys, corporate events, and

MICE programs.

  • Conduct market research to identify gaps and new product opportunities.
  • Ensure all products meet high-quality, safety, and service standards.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and profitability analysis for each product.

Contracting & Supplier Management:


  • Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with hotels, airlines, transport operators,

activity providers, and local suppliers.

  • Build long-term strategic partnerships with international and local partners.
  • Monitor supplier performance and enforce service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, policies, and international best practices.


Operations Management:


  • Oversee all operational aspects of tours, events, and logistics, ensuring flawless

execution.

  • Implement and maintain SOPs for quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate closely with field teams, guides, and local communities to deliver

authentic and seamless experiences.

  • Manage crisis response and problem-solving for on-ground operational

challenges.


Sales & Business Development:


  • Drive revenue growth through partnerships, B2B sales, and client relationships.
  • Identify new market opportunities, both locally and internationally.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, exhibitions, and high-level industry

events.

  • Develop tailored proposals for key corporate, luxury, and incentive clients.

Financial Oversight:


  • Own the P&L, monitor budgets, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Analyze financial reports to track performance, profitability, and ROI of products

and contracts.


Marketing & Brand Leadership:


  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that highlight Oman’s

luxury, adventure, and culture.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all products, communications, and experiences.
  • Leverage digital marketing, social media, and travel platforms to maximize


Team Leadership & HR Management:


  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent across operations, product, sales, and

contracting.

  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance management systems for all teams.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, excellence, and customer obsession.
  • Conduct regular training and development to enhance skills and product

knowledge.


Innovation & Digital Transformation:


  • Lead initiatives to digitalize products, booking systems, contracting, and

customer experiences.

  • Integrate technology solutions to streamline operations, data management, and

reporting.

  • Stay ahead of emerging travel tech trends to maintain a competitive advantage.

Customer Experience & Quality Assurance:


• Ensure every traveler receives a flawless, memorable, and culturally authentic

experience.

• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements quickly.

• Set and enforce service quality standards across all touchpoints.


Sustainability & Community Engagement:


• Promote responsible tourism practices that respect local culture and environment.

• Collaborate with local communities to create socially impactful and authentic

experiences.

• Ensure all activities comply with environmental, social, and governance standards.
