Mito Red Light — a leader in light therapy and wellness technology — is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and execute our multi-channel growth strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role: the ideal candidate combines high-level strategy with the ability to personally analyze data, optimize performance, and execute across platforms.
You will oversee a world-class eCommerce operation spanning DTC (Shopify), Amazon, and other sales channels, while ensuring our marketing engine is measurable, efficient, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategy across paid, organic, email, affiliate, and retail platforms.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and campaign direction across all touchpoints (website, paid media, PR, influencers, affiliates, and retail).
- Own the marketing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Partner with product, creative, and data teams to drive launch strategy for new devices, topicals, and professional lines.
Performance Marketing & eCommerce
- Drive full-funnel paid acquisition (Meta, Google, YouTube, Bing, Amazon Ads, TikTok).
- Manage CRO across Shopify — landing page optimization, A/B testing, and funnel analytics.
- Own the full SEO roadmap (technical, on-page, and content), ensuring category-defining organic visibility.
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV, attribution).
- Implement attribution models integrating GA4, Triple Whale, PMax, and other tools.
AI & Automation Integration
- Leverage AI tools for creative generation, audience segmentation, and personalized customer journeys.
- Integrate AI-driven commerce and chat experiences (e.g., ChatGPT Instant Checkout, agentic sales flows).
- Use data science and predictive analytics to optimize ad spend and forecast demand.
Brand & Content
- Oversee development of video, photography, and influencer campaigns aligned with brand pillars (performance, science, beauty, recovery).
- Manage storytelling across channels — from DTC site experience to social presence.
- Partner with PR and partnerships teams to amplify credibility and thought leadership.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a small, high-performance marketing team and agency partners.
- Foster a culture of data-driven creativity — ideas supported by numbers, not opinions.
- Roll up your sleeves when needed — from writing ad copy to reviewing keyword data.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role at a DTC or eCommerce brand.
- Proven success scaling Shopify or Amazon revenue in the $10M–$50M range.
- Deep fluency in SEO, paid ads, analytics, and omnichannel growth.
- Hands-on proficiency with marketing tools (GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify, Klaviyo, Impact, SEMrush, etc.).
- Experience implementing or leveraging AI marketing tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, PMax, predictive modeling, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Success Metrics
- Scalable increase in qualified traffic, conversions, and revenue.
- Improved ROAS, LTV/CAC ratio, and attribution clarity.
- Meaningful organic traffic and keyword rank growth.
- Clear, measurable systems for campaign tracking and reporting.
- Smooth coordination of omnichannel launches and ongoing marketing ops.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
