We are looking for a dynamic and highly experienced Director of Events to join our luxury hotel and lead our Conferences, Banqueting, Catering, and Events operations. This is a senior leadership role with full strategic, commercial, and operational responsibility. You will ensure flawless execution of high-profile events, from corporate meetings and government functions to private celebrations and grand weddings, accommodating 100 to 1,000 guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all Events, Catering, Conference, and Banqueting operations
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive sales initiatives, business development, and strategic partnerships
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing events team
  • Oversee seamless planning and execution of premium events with exceptional service standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government entities, VIP guests, and business partners
  • Participate in key negotiations, client meetings, site visits, and official delegations
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, profitability, and performance targets
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Operations, Sales, Revenue, and other supporting departments

Requirements

  • Proven senior leadership experience in Events / Catering / Banqueting within a luxury or leading hotel environment.
  • Strong commercial expertise with a record of achieving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Experience managing government events, corporate functions, and large-scale banquets
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and execution abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate confidently at a senior executive level and represent the hotel professionally.
