Overview
The Director of Finance & Human Resources is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management within a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position requires a strategic leader who can align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring the effective management of talent, compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, enabling them to contribute to the overall fiscal health of the organization. Additionally, the candidate will have Medical Billing Office Experience to include Front Office Registration, Scheduling and Billing Practices including collections.

The Director will be responsible for day to day financial obligations such as Quickbooks, reviewing financial statements, balancing bank statements, etc. The Director will enter and process payroll for all departments. This person will work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations to ensure efficiency of processes and fiscal profitability. As a team the Directors will guide, support and lead the organization through growth in the practice.

The Director of Finance & Human Resourses must have a bachelors degree or greater in business or finance. The candidate must be prepared to assist in carrying the vision of the Board forward on a daily basis and offer recommendations for success as needed.

The HR component is assisting with the hiring and development of business office staff, and creation of complete employee files for all departments.

Duties

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business development and organizational goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including IAS and IFRS standards.
  • Manage corporate accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Supervise treasury management activities and ensure effective cash flow analysis.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the board on fiscal management, cost control, and profit & loss analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements to ensure accurate account reconciliation.
  • Provide leadership in financial planning and investment management to support organizational growth.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in corporate finance concepts including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Expertise in risk management practices and compliance management within HR functions.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial report writing and interpretation for various stakeholders.
  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger accounting.
  • Familiarity with financial software tools for efficient data management and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
  • Strong analytical skills for effective account analysis and fiscal decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
