Job Summary
The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Front of House and Bar Operations at the Beachwalk Club. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality drink preparation and service, maintaining inventory control, and upholding safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, banquet and private event management, and a passion for delivering enlightened and progressive hospitality.

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of food and beverage services, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a skilled team.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Health Standards
  • Develop cocktail menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and other departments to create an atmosphere of exceptional hospitality.
  • Utilize POS systems (Club Essentials) for order management.
  • Monitor customer feedback to enhance service quality and address any concerns promptly.
  • Manage budgets effectively while maximizing Member Experience through strategic planning.
  • Supervise dining room operations, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Skills

  • Strong knowledge of dining room management
  • Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Experience in private club management
  • Expertise in inventory control practices to optimize stock levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
  • Background in food service management with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within the club sector, particularly with F&B as an amenity.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Experience in managing large scale events and banquets.
