Overview

Satellite Teams is looking for a Director of Franchise Development to lead the growth and expansion of a high-performing franchise network across the United States. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales leader with a strong background in B2B franchise sales, who brings a proven track record of closing deals and leveraging existing broker relationships to accelerate franchise growth.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and is highly skilled in developing pipelines, managing franchise candidates, and collaborating with brokerage networks to drive territory expansion.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year
  • Performance Bonus: Per-deal commission structure
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000+ annually
  • Fully remote, work-from-anywhere setup within the U.S.

Key ResponsibilitiesFranchise Sales & Development

  • Lead the end-to-end franchise sales process, from lead generation through deal closing
  • Identify, qualify, and convert high-quality franchise candidates
  • Drive franchise growth by expanding into new territories and markets
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with growth targets

Broker & Partner Relationships

  • Leverage and manage existing relationships with franchise brokers and consultant networks
  • Build new strategic partnerships to generate consistent deal flow
  • Collaborate with brokers to match candidates with franchise opportunities
  • Represent the brand within franchise brokerage and development communities

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Track, manage, and report on all franchise development activities and pipeline metrics
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Forecast sales performance and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded

Candidate Experience & Deal Execution

  • Guide candidates through the discovery and validation process
  • Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and follow-ups with prospective franchisees
  • Ensure a high-quality, professional candidate experience throughout the sales cycle
  • Manage negotiations and move deals efficiently toward closing

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with leadership, marketing, and operations teams to align growth strategies
  • Provide insights on market trends, broker activity, and candidate behavior
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of franchise development processes

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in franchise development, franchise sales, or B2B sales
  • Proven track record of closing franchise deals and achieving aggressive sales targets
  • Existing relationships with franchise brokers, consultants, or development networks (highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of franchise sales lifecycle and candidate journey
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage pipelines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Experience working with multi-unit operators or franchise groups
  • Background in high-growth or emerging franchise brands
  • Experience scaling franchise systems across multiple states

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
