SILVER CLOUD HOTEL – SEATTLE STADIUM
Seattle’s premier luxury hotel is seeking a talented, passionate, and team-oriented hospitality professional to join us as Director of Guest Services. The hotel offers 211 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites, exceptional dining and spirits at Jimmy’s on First, and 3,000 plus square feet of event and meeting space, including our Avenue One Ballroom with stunning views overlooking Elliot Bay. We are conveniently situated across from T-Mobile Park and adjacent to Lumen Field & Event Center, and WAMU Theater, making it an ideal choice for sports enthusiasts and those seeking the vibrant atmosphere of this historic Seattle district. Within walking distance, guests can explore Pioneer Square’s exquisite dining options, shopping destinations, and art galleries. With downtown Seattle just a short distance away, guests can immerse themselves in the city’s finest culinary experiences, shopping delights, and captivating theater performances.

POSITION PURPOSE:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Guest Services serves as a key member of the hotel’s leadership team, ensuring seamless operations and consistently exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees all facets of Guest Services, including Front Desk, Valet, Security, and Concierge, while championing the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and service excellence. The Director provides strong leadership and direction for guest-facing departments, directly guiding management personnel and indirectly supporting all hotel associates. Through collaboration across all disciplines, the Director of Guest Services fosters a welcoming environment, safeguards the well-being of guests and employees, and drives a culture of service that elevates the hotel’s reputation and success.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
EXPERIENCE:
o 2+ years of progressive hotel management – Required
o Previous experience managing multiple departments, direct reports - Required
o Excellent organizational skills
o Excellent communication skills
o Ability to adapt to changing business demands, guest and team member needs
o Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the hotel
o Possess a gracious, friendly and approachable demeanor
o Ability to build and support high-performing teams
o Ability to interpret guest feedback and implement service enhancements
o Results oriented with ability to work under pressure
EDUCATION
Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field – Preferred
COMPENSATION
Salary Range is $30.00 - $34.00 annually and is based on applicable experience and work history.
