  • Plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance.
  • Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization’s mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce.
  • Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs.
  • Implements an HRIS to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity.
  • Develops HR budgets/policies/procedures.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves performance gaps and risks in HR and business activities.
  • Strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of HR initiatives, providing essential guidance to facility leadership in areas such as coaching, counseling, performance appraisals, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develops curriculum for employees and leadership.
  • Negotiates benefit plans for employees with insurance industry.
  • Negotiates business insurance plans for company with insurance industry.
  • Provides guidance and assistance to employees on various benefits plans and coordinates existing employee benefit plans.
  • Reconciliation of all benefit plan premiums.
  • Administers and manages employee engagement surveys.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional HR experience
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct training seminars for employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet applications, database and HRIS software.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Excel for calculations, reconciliations, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of core HR benefits administration (HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, FSA, etc.)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong experience with HR operations and employee relations, HR staff management and development.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
