Make a Difference
The Director of Human Resources (“HR Director”) provides Human Resources leadership and subject matter expertise, and functions as the strategic HR Business Partner to department and other network leaders. The HR Director provides strategic and operational guidance and support in alignment with the Network’s mission, values, and key operational objectives as well as Human Resources strategic priorities.

The HR Director:

  • Serves as a member of business unit Leadership Team(s), leads labor team review processes, and participates in other key leadership project teams as assigned.
  • In partnership with other HR Directors, and the assigned HR Generalist, the HR Director develops and administers Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices which drive a culture of retention and engagement.
  • Oversees employee relations functions and coaches/mentors leaders for workforce development.
  • Provides support and partners to ensure that business areas reach financial goals through areas of influence.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration, Management, Business Administration, or the equivalent from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a professional-level position within Human Resources, or three (3) years of management experience in a health care environment, is required.
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive management-level experience within Human Resources is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with the Joint Commission and regulatory agencies is preferred.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own actions with an openness to change and learning.
  • Demonstrates customer service skills to provide exceptional caregiver experience.
  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to use knowledge of or gain knowledge of best practices, processes, laws, regulations, tools, and software within the subject matter area of this position.
  • Ability to successfully analyze data and form critical analysis of Human Resource, Payroll, Financial, and Clinical information.
  • In-depth understanding and application of the laws and regulations that impact human resources administration.
