Regional Director of Human Resources – Skilled Nursing

Multi-Facility Leadership | Texas | Executive Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Human Resources with multi-facility long-term care experience in Texas to support a growing skilled nursing organization.

This is a regional leadership role responsible for guiding HR strategy and workforce stability across multiple skilled nursing facilities, working directly with the Vice President of Operations and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting administrators and HR teams across several nursing homes and understands the workforce challenges unique to long-term care.

This leader will help strengthen HR operations, payroll oversight, recruitment strategies, and workforce systems that support facility success.

Applicants without multi-facility LTC HR leadership experience in Texas will not be considered.

Required Industry Experience

  • Multi-facility long-term care / skilled nursing HR leadership

  • Experience supporting multiple skilled nursing facilities in Texas

  • Experience partnering directly with facility Administrators and regional leadership

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workforce compliance and HR practices

What You’ll Do

Regional HR Leadership

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to the Vice President of Operations, CEO, and facility Administrators

  • Provide HR leadership and guidance across multiple long-term care communities

  • Strengthen HR processes and accountability across all facilities

HR & Payroll Oversight

  • Support and oversee facility HR/Payroll Coordinators

  • Monitor onboarding, employee files, payroll processes, and HR documentation

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Texas workforce regulations

Recruitment & Workforce Stability

  • Strengthen recruitment pipelines for key clinical and leadership roles

  • Support administrators with employee relations, coaching, and corrective action

  • Assist with retention strategies and workforce engagement initiatives

HR Program Development

  • Build and implement consistent HR systems across facilities

  • Develop training and orientation programs for HR/Payroll Coordinators

  • Identify workforce challenges early and implement practical solutions

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of HR leadership experience in long-term care

  • Direct experience supporting multiple skilled nursing facilities in Texas

  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, payroll processes, and labor laws

  • Experience working closely with facility administrators and regional leadership

  • Ability to travel regionally and support multiple facilities
