HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology to oversee the company’s IT operations, infrastructure, and security while aligning technology with business objectives. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security, and scalability of IT systems, managing IT staff, and driving technology-driven business growth.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
  • Lead and manage the IT team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, network security, and system availability to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices, including compliance with software licensing and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs through innovative technology solutions.
  • Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure IT policies align with industry regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).
  • Implement IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) to optimize efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants.
  • Oversee IT budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely response to IT issues, escalations, and incident management, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to improve IT operations.
  • Develop cybersecurity strategies to protect company data from threats.
  • Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Define and track performance metrics for IT operations, system uptime, and user satisfaction.
  • Implement IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks for better service delivery.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive digital transformation that supports growth.
  • Support M&A activities from an IT integration standpoint (if applicable).
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Support data analysis and reporting initiatives for business intelligence.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT experience , with at least 5 years in leadership roles overseeing IT infrastructure, operations, and security.
  • Strong expertise in IT systems, networking, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications, including Oracle and other ERP systems.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting for business insights.
