Director of Leisure Assets

Job Summary

The Director of Leisure Assets is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and operational performance of leisure portfolio, including Golf, Marinas, and Beach operations. The role focuses on maximizing financial returns, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining world-class standards across leisure assets, while ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. The Director will drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement to position leisure assets as leading lifestyle destinations in the region.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the operations of Golf, Marinas, and Beach assets in alignment with Hospitality’s strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, aligning service standards with global best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategic and business plans, including revenue generation, marketing, capital projects, and service enhancements.
  • Lead asset-specific leadership teams, ensuring effective performance management, staff development, and succession planning.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, capital expenditure budgets, and business forecasts, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs, ensuring timely interventions to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Drive innovation in leisure services and adopt emerging industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all leisure facilities.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, government entities, and partners to support sustainable growth.
  • Act as the key liaison for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives across leisure assets in line with ESG commitments.
  • Champion brand positioning, marketing, and promotional strategies to elevate the visibility and reputation of leisure assets.


Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Leisure Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10–15 years of senior management experience in leisure, hospitality, or resort operations, with proven multi-asset oversight.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dirham budgets and deliver ROI.
  • In-depth knowledge of golf, marina, and beach club operations in the UAE or international leisure markets.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive guest experience excellence and implement innovative service enhancements.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, licensing, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and leisure management systems.
