To strengthen our leadership team in Salalah, we are seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance (Refinery) to oversee maintenance operations and drive strategic improvements.

Role Overview

The Director of Maintenance (Refinery) will be responsible for leading refinery maintenance programs, managing technical teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to align maintenance strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee refinery maintenance operations across all units.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize performance.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices and technologies.
• Manage budgets, resources, and scheduling for maintenance activities.
• Mentor and guide technical staff to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in refinery maintenance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale refinery maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of refinery equipment, reliability engineering, and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
