The Director of Marketing will lead the strategy, execution and performance of all marketing, communications, and brand initiatives across SkyMark Companies and its divisions. This role owns the corporate brand, positioning, and narrative, ensuring consistency across product launches, sales enablement, digital channels, and community/industry engagement.
Reporting to the CCO, the Director will partner with senior leadership and division heads to convert business objectives into integrated marketing plans that drive revenue growth, strengthen reputation, and reinforce strategic positioning across company’s markets in the industries it serves.
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the Marketing Department and own the corporate marketing strategy, budget, and annual plan aligned to SkyMark’s growth objectives
- Translate business priorities into integrated marketing plans supporting revenue, brand, and market positioning across all divisions and industries served
- Oversee external agencies and vendors to ensure cost-effective, on-brand execution
Sales Enablement & Campaign Execution
- Develop campaigns, promotions, and go-to-market materials to support sales
- Oversee website, digital channels, content calendar, and marketing assets (print, video, social, PR, etc.)
- Lead corporate communications including press releases, internal communications, etc.
- Drive digital demand through targeted campaigns (social, SEO. Etc.)
Performance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and report KPIs and campaign effectiveness to senior leadership
- Use data, analytics, and benchmarking to optimize spend, messaging, and channel mix
- Improve digital presence and user experience across web, SEO, landing pages, paid media and online engagement
Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field
- 8+ years of marketing experience
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial markets, or chassis-upfitting industries preferred
- Demonstrated success planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns
- Strong leadership and vendor/agency management experience
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and the B2B customer journey
- Self-driven with strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level polish
- Proactive “above and beyond” mindset — looks for ways to elevate work, not just complete tasks
- Experienced managing and directing outside vendors and agencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Hands-on experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop), Facebook Business Manager, and similar platforms
- Solid understanding of integrated marketing strategy, content, and digital execution
- Strong presentation and ability to travel as required
