Description:

Boulder Imaging is seeking a Director of Marketing as we look to expand the deployment of our high-performance machine vision systems and IdentiFlight technology. This role is responsible for developing and executing Boulder Imaging’s global marketing strategy to accelerate growth, enhance brand awareness, and support sales objectives across all product lines, while communicating the impact of our technology on wildlife protection. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in brand management, content, digital marketing, events, and partner enablement.

Requirements:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, mission, and vision.
  • Lead brand positioning and messaging for Boulder Imaging and IdentiFlight to clearly differentiate the company in global markets.
  • Lead and mentor a small, high-performing marketing team (2 direct reports).
  • Lead and manage marketing alignment of BI’s network of global sales partners (7) across Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Americas.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new products and service offerings.
  • Develop and track performance metrics to measure and optimize campaign effectiveness on all initiatives.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships related to marketing and communications.
  • Represent BI in high-level discussions with regulators, NGOs, and industry associations.

Brand, Content, and Communications

  • Manage brand identity, visual standards, and messaging across all platforms and regions.
  • Oversee creation of high-impact content: case studies, global press releases, website copy, product brochures, and videos.
  • Coordinate media and public relations efforts, including trade publications and industry partnerships.
  • Drive lead generation through digital campaigns, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Implement CRM-integrated marketing automation to support the sales funnel.
  • Serve as an escalation point for sensitive communications, safeguarding the organization’s reputation and brand integrity.

Events and Industry Engagement

  • Lead participation in global trade shows and conferences through budgeting, planning, participation management, and in-person representation.
  • Build strategic alliances with technology partners, ecology groups, NGOs, and renewable energy organizations.

Business Development Support

  • Shape BI’s long-term business development strategy, including entry into new regions and industries.
  • Track industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to position BI as a global leader.
  • Develop key relationships with customers to secure approvals to use project details and photos in marketing materials such as case studies and press releases.
  • Work with data science team to develop site specific case studies and publications.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven success in B2B technology, industrial automation, or renewable energy markets
  • Travel requirements: up to 15%

Salary

$115,000 - $130,000/year
