Our clients range from distressed companies to lenders, investors, and legal advisors. We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Director of Marketing to drive our brand presence, develop high-impact campaigns, develop and execute market-level events, and support business development through digital and traditional marketing strategies.
Role Overview
As Director of Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping the firm’s marketing strategy and execution. This includes managing digital marketing campaigns, coordinating local marketing events and conferences, and driving the visibility of our thought leadership content across various platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with partners, subject matter experts, and external vendors to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives that position the firm as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing

Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel brand and digital campaigns (email, SEO, SEM,
LinkedIn, etc.)

Manage website content, performance, and analytics; recommend improvements

Oversee marketing automation tools and CRM integrations
-
Track KPIs and generate performance reports to inform strategy: track thought leadership
calendar and impact results. Manage ghost writers.
Event Management
-
Plan and coordinate participation in industry conferences, roundtables, and webinars
-
Manage local marketing event logistics, branding, sponsorships, and post-event follow-ups
Some travel to events will be required.

Develop event marketing materials and ensure consistent messaging

Liaise with event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Thought Leadership & Content Marketing

Collaborate with the Arete's subject matter experts to create and promote white papers,
articles, and case studies

Pitch contributed articles and expert commentary to industry publications and media
Outlets
-
Work with design and PR partners to ensure professional and consistent formatting and
Tone
-
Manage editorial calendar and content distribution across channels
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in professional services or finance

Strong grasp of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, CMS, CRM,
analytics)

Proven track record managing business events from planning to execution

Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills

Comfortable working independently and with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-
expectation environment

Experience working with media contacts or PR agencies is a plus
