Job Description: Director of Marketing (Content, Conferences, Paid Search)

Company Profile: ChartRequest is a leading healthcare information technology and services company specializing in electronic medical record fulfillment, outsourced medical record fulfillment, and referral management solutions. Since its establishment in 2012 in Atlanta, GA, ChartRequest has been committed to eliminating manual and paper processes, providing secure and HIPAA-compliant solutions to streamline operations for healthcare providers and requestors.

Position: Director of Marketing

Location: In-Office - Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, or Charleston, SC

Reports To: SVP of Operations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own the Funnel & Targets. Set and hit monthly and quarterly goals for MQLs, SQLs, marketing-sourced pipeline, and marketing-sourced revenue. Publish a standing scorecard (HubSpot + GA4) with clear conversion metrics by channel and campaign.
  • Pipeline Creation: Conferences, Content, Paid Search.
  • Conferences/Field: Build the annual conference plan (targets, budgets, booth ops, pre/during/post cadences). Commit to sourced pipeline and meetings-set quotas per event; run fast post-show follow-up SLAs with Sales and Client Services.
  • Content: Own a quarterly editorial calendar mapped to personas and stages. Ship case studies, FAQs, ROI calculators, and enablement packs that move leads from awareness→consideration→purchase.
  • Paid Search & Digital: Run always-on paid search and retargeting with rigorous testing (ad copy/LPs/offer). Manage ROAS, CAC, and cost-per-opportunity with weekly bid and keyword governance.
  • Attribution, Analytics, and Hygiene. Design source-of-truth reporting in HubSpot/GA4 (first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch where needed). Maintain immaculate UTM standards, lifecycle stage rules, and lead-to-account matching. Build dashboards for ELT with CAC:LTV, payback, and channel efficiency.
  • Lifecycle & Nurture. Stand up segmented email/SMS nurtures for prospects, customers, and partners. Define exit/entry criteria, content progression, and recycle loops for disqualified or stalled deals.
  • Partner & Client Services Collaboration. Work with Client Services leadership to generate expansion and referral pipelines (playbooks, webinars, office hours, benchmarks). Package wins into proof (case studies, PR, talks) and feed a steady reference engine.
  • Sales Alignment & SLAs. Co-define MQL/SQL criteria and response SLAs with Sales/CS. Run weekly RevSync (Marketing + Sales/CS) to review funnel health, rejects, velocity, and unblockers. Deliver battlecards, talk tracks, and conference one-pagers.
  • SEO & Web Experience. Prioritize technical SEO, content clusters, and conversion-rate optimization across the website and landing pages. Ship A/B tests weekly; improve form completion and demo-request rates.
  • Budget, Vendors, and Ops. Own the marketing budget; manage agencies/freelancers for media, creative, and events. Ensure HubSpot ops, lists, and routing rules are tight and documented.
  • Team Leadership. Manage and coach the Head of Digital Marketing and Content Copywriter. Set quarterly OKRs, weekly priorities, and review cadences. Hold high bar for writing quality, design clarity, and data accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of B2B marketing experience (healthcare/health IT or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred) with direct ownership of pipeline targets and paid media budgets.
  • Deep fluency with HubSpot (automation, workflows, lead scoring, reporting), GA4, and spreadsheet-level analysis; comfort building dashboards and explaining causality, not just correlation.
  • Proven track record creating pipeline via conferences/field marketing, content engines, and paid search/retargeting; hands-on with landing page/CRO testing.
  • Strong attribution chops (UTM discipline, channel mapping) and lifecycle design (MQL/SQL definitions, SLAs, recycle rules).
  • Excellent writing and positioning skills; can turn complex healthcare workflows into crisp, persuasive narratives and enablement.
  • Managerial experience leading small, high-output teams and orchestrating agencies; sets clear OKRs and measures results weekly.
  • Highly organized, deadline-reliable, and comfortable in a metrics-driven, experiment-heavy environment.
  • Familiarity with EOS (L10s, Rocks) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel ~25–35% for conferences, field events, and key customer stories.

Compensation. This role is a management role with quarterly incentive compensation plan performance bonuses. The base compensation will be between $80,000 - $100,000 and the On Target Earnings will be between $92,000 - $115,000 depending on leadership and management experience. Prior sales and marketing leadership and management experience is a requirement for this role.

We will open offices in Nashville, TN and Charleston, SC and will focus on hiring around these clusters.
