RED Hospitality & Leisure—one of the leading operators in experiential ocean adventures, premium catamaran tours, boating, and destination lifestyle experiences—is seeking a Director of Marketing to build and optimize RED’s multi-brand marketing, content, growth, and revenue systems.

This is a high-agency, entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership role blending:

  • brand + creative stewardship
  • digital performance + e-commerce growth
  • revenue management
  • high-level partner relationships
  • project management
  • hands-on execution

Ideal candidates come from consumer lifestyle, experiential travel, adventure, e-commerce, DTC, agency, or startup environments—where adaptability, creativity, and initiative are essential. Hotel experience is a plus, but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Creative Leadership

  • Define and evolve RED’s master brand and sub-brand identities across markets.
  • Develop brand standards, voice/tone, and visual identity systems.
  • Lead creative direction across all digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Oversee or produce high-quality copywriting and brand storytelling.

Digital, E-Commerce & Growth

  • Own full-funnel digital acquisition: SEO, SEM, paid social, retargeting, CRM, CRO.
  • Optimize multi-site e-commerce booking flows and merchandising.
  • Manage attribution, analytics dashboards, forecasting, and performance budgeting.
  • Drive measurable revenue growth tied to digital KPIs.

Revenue Management & Demand Optimization

  • Analyze pricing, demand curves, booking pace, seasonality, and revenue opportunities.
  • Recommend/execute pricing adjustments, promotions, inventory strategies, and yield optimization.
  • Align marketing campaigns and merchandising with demand insights.
  • Support ancillary revenue programs, upsells, and product bundling.

Client & Partner Relationship Management

  • Serve as a strategic client-facing leader with:
    • Resorts & hotel partners
    • Tourism boards & DMOs
    • Influencers, media groups, and brand collaborators
  • Lead co-branded campaigns, concierge materials, and partner-facing marketing initiatives.
  • Represent RED in key meetings, site visits, and destination activations.

Social Media, Content & Influencer Marketing

  • Lead RED’s content strategy across all major platforms (IG, TikTok, FB, YT).
  • Manage content calendars, UGC pipelines, influencer partnerships, and creative shoots.
  • Build a lifestyle-driven content ecosystem tailored to each destination market.

Creative Production & Copywriting

  • Direct development of creative assets: ads, videos, photography, email, landing pages, and merch.
  • Maintain a high creative standard consistent with premium adventure-lifestyle consumer brands.
  • Write or oversee writing for campaigns, product launches, scripts, and ads.

Project & Marketing Operations

  • Build and manage RED’s project management framework (Asana/Monday/ClickUp).
  • Oversee marketing briefs, timelines, workflows, cross-functional communication, and delivery.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder projects such as web updates, new excursion launches, or rebrands.

Hands-On Leadership

  • Execute directly when needed—content capture, email builds, landing page edits, social posts, asset creation, etc.
  • Thrive in a startup-style, high-agency environment with limited layers and broad ownership.
  • Model a culture of speed, creativity, accountability, and excellence.

Merchandising & Retail

  • Oversee merchandising for onboard, dockside, online, and resort retail.
  • Manage product line development, vendor relations, inventory plans, and price strategy.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead a small and growing marketing team + freelancers, creators, and agency partners.
  • Hire, train, and develop future marketing talent across functions.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, reporting, and marketing ROI.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 7–12+ years in marketing with leadership experience.
  • Background in consumer lifestyle, adventure, travel, DTC, agency, or startup environments.
  • Strong track record in digital growth, e-commerce, and performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated creative and design sensibility with strong storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing revenue, pricing influence, or demand optimization preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Comfortable switching between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

Base Salary: $90,000 – $125,000

Performance Bonus & Incentives:

  • Annual performance-based bonus tied to digital KPIs and revenue metrics
