Paramount Property Tax Appeal is a commercial property tax advisory firm working on some of the largest and most complex assets in California and beyond. We don’t spray and pray. We identify specific properties, specific owners, and the exact decision-makers responsible for taxes — then we get in front of them the right way.

Our results don’t come from flashy digital funnels or chasing vanity metrics. They come from precision, credibility, relationships, and consistent execution. Marketing here isn’t a support function — it’s a revenue driver.

We are expanding thoughtfully into new states while maintaining a sniper-level approach in California.

The Role

We’re hiring a Director of Marketing who actually gets things done.

This role is not about big ideas that die in Asana. It’s about owning marketing end-to-end — from strategy to execution — and pushing work across the finish line with quality.

You need:

  • Strong judgment on what’s “good enough” vs. what needs work
  • An eye for clean, professional design
  • The ability to execute yourself and manage others
  • Comfort leveraging AI, contractors, and internal resources to move fast

This is a builder role. You will be hands-on. You will also be responsible for making sure nothing stalls.

What You’ll Own

Direct Mail (Core Focus)

  • Own all direct mail strategy, lists, and execution
  • Coordinate data, targeting, timing, and messaging
  • Redesign mailers regularly to keep campaigns fresh
  • Create dimensional mail packages from scratch (concept → messaging → execution)
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and follow-through

Content & Authority Building

  • Vet blog posts and coordinate publishing to our website
  • Ensure content is accurate, credible, and actually useful
  • Build our position as an expert in property tax through education

Social Media & Video

  • Lead educational content and short-form video strategy
  • Focus on credibility and expertise, not trends or fluff
  • Leverage AI and team resources to scale content output

PPC & Digital (Limited, Strategic Use)

  • Manage PPC for out-of-state markets only (not California)
  • Understand that digital supports exposure — it does not replace relationships
  • Optimize for quality leads, not volume

Expansion Marketing

  • Spearhead marketing efforts for out-of-state growth
  • Tailor messaging and channels by market
  • Coordinate campaigns that support business development and sales

Collateral & Support Materials

  • Create handouts, one-pagers, and marketing materials for meetings and events
  • Maintain brand consistency and professional polish

What We’re Looking For

You are:

  • A finisher — you move projects from idea to execution to done
  • Comfortable working with limited resources and still producing results
  • Able to manage contractors or a small team while staying hands-on
  • Strong at prioritization — you know what matters and what doesn’t
  • Confident using AI tools to increase speed and output
  • Detail-oriented without getting stuck in perfection paralysis
  • Able to track and measure KPI's

You are not:

  • A pure strategist who avoids execution
  • Someone chasing impressions, likes, or trendy tactics
  • A “throw it over the fence” marketer
