Role Overview

The Director of Marketing owns QuikStor’s end-to-end marketing strategy and execution, with a primary mandate to drive measurable pipeline growth, revenue impact, and market leadership.

This role goes beyond campaign execution. You will define QuikStor’s go-to-market marketing strategy, oversee demand generation and product marketing, and ensure tight alignment between Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Product. You will be accountable for marketing performance at the executive level, including pipeline contribution, conversion efficiency, and ARR influence.

This is not a brand-only role. Brand matters, but it exists to support growth. Success in this role is measured by revenue impact, attribution accuracy, and scalable execution.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Own QuikStor’s marketing strategy across demand generation, product marketing, content, events, and digital channels.
  • Translate company growth targets into a clear, executable marketing roadmap with quarterly and annual goals.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team and external partners as the organization scales.

Demand Generation & Pipeline Ownership

  • Drive predictable, scalable pipeline through a balanced mix of inbound, outbound, and ABM strategies.
  • Own performance across paid media, email nurture, webinars, content syndication, field marketing, and partner campaigns.
  • Maintain direct accountability for lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and marketing-sourced revenue.

Sales & RevOps Alignment

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and RevOps to define ICPs, segmentation, MQL and SQL criteria, and lead handoff SLAs.
  • Establish closed-loop feedback systems to continuously improve conversion across the funnel.
  • Ensure marketing is tightly integrated into forecasting, pipeline reviews, and revenue planning.

Marketing Operations, Analytics & Attribution

  • Own marketing analytics and reporting, ensuring clear visibility from first touch through closed revenue.
  • Partner with RevOps to maintain clean CRM data, reliable attribution models, and executive-ready dashboards.
  • Use data to guide prioritization, budget allocation, and experimentation.

Website, Digital & Conversion Optimization

  • Own the website as a revenue engine, including messaging, UX, SEO, SEM, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Lead continuous testing of landing pages, forms, and funnel paths to improve qualified conversions.
  • Ensure messaging clearly differentiates QuikStor in a competitive market.

Product Marketing & Content

  • Partner with Product to lead positioning, messaging, launches, and competitive enablement.
  • Develop sales-ready assets including case studies, pitch decks, ROI tools, and industry-specific collateral.
  • Own the narrative that moves prospects from interest to conviction.

Events & Industry Presence

  • Define QuikStor’s event and field marketing strategy across major industry conferences and regional events.
  • Maximize ROI from sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and community engagement.
  • Use events as a core driver of pipeline, not just visibility.

Continuous Optimization & Budget Ownership

  • Own the marketing budget and continuously optimize spend toward the highest ROI activities.
  • Run regular performance reviews and experimentation cycles to improve efficiency and scale.
  • Make informed trade-offs between speed, cost, and impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 to 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with significant time in demand generation or growth-focused roles.
  • Proven track record of owning pipeline and revenue outcomes, not just lead volume.
  • Experience leading marketing strategy in a scaling SaaS environment.
  • Deep familiarity with modern GTM stacks, including marketing automation, CRM, paid media platforms, analytics, and experimentation tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate performance clearly to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and operate with autonomy.
  • Comfortable building structure where none exists and scaling what works.

Location & Travel

This role is based at QuikStor headquarters in El Segundo, California. Regular on-site presence is expected. Travel of approximately 15 to 20 percent is required for customer meetings, industry events, and internal planning.
