Director of Marketing

Olive & Cocoa is a growing premium gifting brand seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Marketing to lead our digital and catalog channels. This role is ideal for a marketing leader who blends creativity with analytics and excels at disciplined execution.

You will own customer acquisition, retention, and revenue-driving initiatives across all direct-to-consumer touchpoints and play a key role in shaping Olive & Cocoa’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end DTC marketing strategy across catalog, email, paid media, SEO/SEM, and social
• Drive performance marketing with a strong focus on CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion optimization, and retention
• Build and manage annual and seasonal marketing budgets, forecasts, and marketing calendars
• Use data modeling and advanced analytics to guide decisions and uncover growth opportunities
• Develop segmentation and personalization strategies to increase engagement and repeat purchases
• Plan and execute A/B and multivariate testing to continuously improve results
• Partner closely with creative, merchandising, operations, and inventory teams to ensure aligned execution
• Manage agencies and vendors with clear goals and performance accountability
• Strengthen brand storytelling and deliver a cohesive customer experience across all channels

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of marketing experience in DTC, ecommerce, retail, or catalog-driven businesses
• Proven success in digital acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing
• Strong analytical skills, including Excel, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Deep understanding of attribution, funnel performance, and customer segmentation
• Ability to translate data into clear strategies and measurable outcomes
• Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across teams
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Advanced degree a plus
• Familiarity with catalog marketing is a plus, but not required

• Full-time, onsite position based at our Salt Lake City, Utah headquarters
• Professional office environment with access to modern marketing tools and technologies
• Routine use of computers and office equipment
• Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
