X Holdings is a growing platform company operating at the intersection of real estate, relocation, and consumer advocacy. Our businesses are built to challenge outdated, self-serving industry models by delivering clarity, transparency, and human-centered experiences — especially in moments when people need it most.

Our real estate division is being stood up as a new, modern brand, and X Pro is an established, fast-scaling relocation platform serving public adjusters and displaced homeowners nationwide. We are now looking for a hands-on Director of Marketing to build, execute, and scale the marketing foundation across both.

This is not a “strategy-only” role. This is a builder role.

The Role

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for standing up the real estate brand from the ground up while also owning the outward-facing marketing execution for X Pro. This role blends brand leadership with daily hands-on execution and requires someone who genuinely enjoys creating, building, and shipping.

You will report directly to the founder and work closely with leadership across the real estate and X Pro businesses, with primary focus on real estate in the early stages.

If you love Canva, websites, social media, brand systems, and actually doing the work — this role was designed for you.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

You will have “crushed it” if you:

  • Successfully launch a new real estate brand, including:
  • Logo
  • Brand guide
  • Website
  • Social presence and cadence
  • Refresh and/or rebuild the X Pro website and marketing collateral
  • Establish consistent, high-quality social media presence for both brands
  • Create and manage content calendars, posting, and engagement
  • Bring clarity and consistency to how the brands show up publicly
  • Support pipeline growth through strong positioning and visibility
  • Increase credibility with partners through polished, professional marketing assets

Core Responsibilities

Brand & Creative Execution (Hands-On)

  • Design logos, brand guides, and visual systems
  • Build and manage websites (Webflow, Squarespace, WordPress, or similar)
  • Create social media content, graphics, and posts (heavy Canva usage)
  • Develop marketing collateral, landing pages, and digital assets
  • Ensure brand consistency across all outward-facing channels

Digital & Social Marketing

  • Own social media strategy and daily execution
  • Build and manage content calendars
  • Write, design, schedule, and post content
  • Monitor performance and adjust based on engagement and growth

Multi-Brand Marketing Support

  • Support marketing needs across X Holdings companies as needed
  • Focus primarily on real estate and X Pro in the early phase
  • Maintain outward-facing alignment across brands without over-engineering

Leadership & Accountability

  • Work directly with the founder with shared authority
  • Push back when marketing standards or timelines are compromised
  • Hold leadership accountable for inputs and approvals needed to keep momentum
  • Oversee freelancers or contractors if/when hired (no direct reports initially)

This role is NOT:

  • A pure strategy or management role
  • An agency-style vendor coordination job
  • A passive or slow-paced environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a senior startup or scale-up marketer
  • Is a true jack-of-all-trades marketer
  • Loves creating websites, Canva designs, social content, and brand assets
  • Is comfortable owning projects end-to-end without layers of support
  • Can move quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Is confident in pushing back to protect brand integrity
  • Enjoys autonomy, responsibility, and high trust

Industry Background

  • Real estate experience: Not required (nice to have, not necessary)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually (based on experience)
