The Director of Marketing and Communications serves as the chief storyteller and brand steward of New Braunfels Christian Academy (NBCA). This role advances the school’s mission by leading a unified, strategic, and mission-aligned communications and marketing presence that clearly articulates NBCA’s identity as a Christ-centered school relentlessly pursuing Truth and excellence.

The Director of Marketing and Communications ensures clarity, consistency, and creativity across all internal and external communications—strengthening community awareness, supporting admissions growth, advancing donor engagement, and reinforcing a cohesive brand throughout the school and the New Braunfels community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Strategic Marketing and Communication:

  • Craft and communicate compelling, mission-centered narratives that advance NBCA’s vision
  • Lead a unified, strategic marketing and communications calendar aligned with school priorities
  • Translate complex initiatives into clear, inspiring messages for diverse audiences
  • Balance creativity with disciplined execution to ensure consistency and excellence

● Internal Communications:

  • Ensure 100% of marketing and communication materials meet brand standards and theological alignment
  • Maintain a consistent voice, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms
  • Conduct regular brand audits and content reviews

● Admissions and Advancement Support:

  • Support admissions pipeline growth through strategic storytelling and outreach
  • Collaborate with admissions to increase campus tours and inquiry-to-tour conversions
  • Partner with advancement to strengthen donor communications and campaign messaging

● Digital Media and Analytics:

  • Oversee social media, content production, design, and digital engagement
  • Use analytics to track engagement, conversion, and ROI across platforms
  • Deliver regular performance reports tied to admissions, advancement, and awareness goals
  • Lead public relations efforts, including earned media and crisis communication as needed

Director of Marketing and Communications Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university in a related field (e.g., Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management)..

● 3+ years of marketing or development experience.

● Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies.

● Experience managing and growing social media platforms, including content planning, analytics, and engagement

● Proficient with Google Education Suite applications and CRMs.

● Working knowledge of digital marketing tools, including email marketing platforms, website content management systems (CMS), and basic SEO best practices

● Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

● Ability to work independently.

● Available to travel, work weekends and evenings.

● Valid driver’s license.
