Overview:
The Director of Marketing, Demand Generation is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue acceleration. This role leads the demand generation function, oversees multi-channel campaign strategy, and collaborates closely with sales, product, and marketing leadership to ensure measurable impact across the funnel. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, data-driven decision making, and deep experience in B2B growth marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own the comprehensive demand generation strategy across all channels.
- Build, manage, and optimize the marketing funnel to drive qualified leads and pipeline.
- Lead a team of specialists across digital marketing, campaigns, automation, and content.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics aligned with sales and revenue goals.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Design and launch integrated campaigns (email, paid media, social, website, content syndication, webinars, ABM, events).
- Partner with product marketing to align messaging and content to buyer journeys.
- Manage budgets, allocate spend across channels, and ensure strong ROI.
Marketing Operations & Automation
- Oversee marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.) and CRM alignment.
- Build scalable workflows, nurture programs, and lead-scoring models.
- Ensure data integrity, segmentation, and reporting accuracy across all platforms.
Sales Alignment & Pipeline Growth
- Partner with sales leadership to ensure high-quality lead flow and seamless handoff.
- Support development of account-based strategies for high-value targets.
- Deliver regular funnel insights, forecasts, and recommendations to sales and executive teams.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor performance dashboards and analyze campaign data to inform continuous optimization.
- Run A/B and multivariate tests to strengthen conversion rates and engagement.
- Identify growth opportunities and emerging channels with high ROI potential.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, content, design, and executive teams to ensure alignment on marketing priorities.
- Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and partners to enhance execution capacity.
- Support PR, brand, and corporate communications initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in demand generation leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
- Expertise in digital marketing channels, marketing automation, paid media, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys and funnel optimization.
- Excellent leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, or regulated industries preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) platforms.
- Advanced skills in CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategy, content marketing, and lead-nurture development.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
