Director of Marketing, Design & Research


Overview

The Director of Marketing, Design, and Research is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the heart of Bradley’s brand, storytelling, and market intelligence. This is an opportunity to shape how Bradley shows up in every market we serve—elevating our digital presence, driving compelling campaigns, and delivering research and insights that inform major business decisions. Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute the annual corporate marketing and research strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage and evolve Bradley’s brand identity, visual standards, messaging, and positioning across all company touchpoints.
  • Oversee development of integrated marketing campaigns, content strategy, and executive communications, ensuring consistent brand voice, tone, and editorial standards.
  • Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines that ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment across all written communications and marketing materials.
  • Lead content writing and editorial strategy across corporate channels, including thought leadership articles, white papers, executive communications, and industry publications.
  • Position Bradley leadership as industry thought leaders through strategic content development, speaking engagements, publication placements, and visibility in relevant real estate and business forums.
  • Engage with brokerage, property management, and multifamily leaders to develop integrated marketing and business development strategies that support revenue generation, client acquisition, market expansion, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing calendar and integrated campaign roadmap aligned with business priorities, seasonal opportunities, and key market events.
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy across all marketing deliverables, presentations, and collateral.
  • Partner with executives, regional leaders, and internal teams to support strategic initiatives through effective marketing strategy and brand leadership.


Digital Marketing, Creative Services & Revenue Enablement:

  • Lead digital marketing strategy across website experience, email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of company and property-specific websites to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and brand alignment.
  • Oversee content creation and editorial workflows, including copywriting, proofreading, and brand voice adherence for blogs, newsletters, social posts, case studies, and promotional materials.
  • Develop and manage the thought leadership content calendar and distribution strategy, positioning Bradley executives across targeted industry publications, conferences, podcasts, and digital platforms.
  • Partner with business development teams to create compelling narratives, success stories, and market insights that support pitches, proposals, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Manage production of custom marketing materials for brokers, property managers, and regional teams (flyers, pitch decks, proposals, case studies, templates).
  • Ensure quality control for all proposals and presentations, delivering polished, accurate, and competitive materials.
  • Oversee execution of digital content, newsletters, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Partner with internal departments to support revenue generation through timely, high-quality marketing tools and collateral.
  • Manage marketing technology platforms, including CRM, analytics tools, and content systems.


Market Research, Data Management & Insights:

  • Lead strategy and execution of market research across all Bradley markets.
  • Oversee quarterly and monthly data collection, research reports, and market insights.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of research publications, economic updates, and trend summaries.
  • Provide strategic insights that support brokerage, property management, asset management, and executive decision-making.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging shifts in commercial real estate.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure research and analytics effectively support business development, forecasting, and strategic planning.


Leadership, Team Development, & Operational Management:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Marketing and Research team members, providing ongoing feedback, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, ongoing training, and workload management for the team.
  • Manage annual budgets for marketing and research, ensuring responsible and strategic allocation of resources.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships (digital, creative, print, PR, research tools, etc.).
  • Continuously evaluate workflows, processes, and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships that support internal clients and encourage collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving.
  • Lead special initiatives or projects as assigned by the COO or CEO.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support business operations and team success.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing or research, preferably within commercial real estate, property management, or professional services.
  • Experience leading a marketing or research team and managing multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, CRM systems, and marketing technologies.
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategic marketing and brand initiatives.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, balancing long-term vision with day-to-day execution.
