Director of Marketing (Legal Services – Immigration Law)

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-impact, culturally competent Director of Marketing to lead our digital and community outreach for our immigration law firm. This is a "player-coach" role: you will be responsible for high-level strategy and budget oversight while remaining hands-on in paid advertising, content creation, social media management, and lead generation. You will bridge the gap between technical digital marketing and grassroots Hispanic community engagement.

As the Director of Marketing, you will play a key role in expanding our firm’s reach, increasing brand awareness, and generating leads while ensuring compliance with legal advertising regulations. You’ll work closely with leadership and manage external vendors and freelancers to implement marketing strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Production & CRM Mastery (Go High Level)

  • Full-Funnel Management: Own the Go High Level pipeline. Map and optimize every touchpoint of the PNC lifecycle to decrease friction and increase conversion rates.
  • Attribution & Tracking: Implement rigorous "trackable buckets" for all lead sources through the entire sales funnel. Ensure 100% accuracy in marketing attribution to identify which campaigns produce cases vs. those that underperform.
  • Lead Nurturing: Design and refine automated drip campaigns and SMS sequences to keep the firm top-of-mind and drive PNCs toward a consultation.
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Sales Director to unify the hand-off between marketing and intake, ensuring a seamless PNC journey that maximizes conversion rates through the entire funnel.

2. Digital Ecosystem & Website Management

  • Website Ownership: Directly manage and maintain the firm’s website(s), ensuring high performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO health (Content Updates: Swap out photos, update bios, and post blogs. SEO Oversight: Use tools to track rankings and update "on-page" SEO (meta-titles, descriptions, and keyword placement). Conversion Checks: Regularly test the contact forms to ensure they are flowing into the pipeline correctly.)
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct constant A/B testing of landing pages and intake forms to ensure the website serves as a high-performance lead generation tool.
  • Social Media & E-blasts: Actively generate, edit, publish, and share daily content for Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok. Draft and deploy regular, high-conversion e-blasts to our subscriber base.

3. Multi-Media & Content Production

  • Asset Creation: Produce or oversee the production of graphic designs, videos (educational shorts, testimonials), and blogs.
  • Cultural Authenticity: Create culturally relevant content in both Spanish and English to connect deeply with Hispanic and immigrant families.
  • Case Evidence: Oversee the packaging of testimonials and case results into marketing assets while ensuring strict compliance with legal advertising regulations.

4. Community Engagement & Paid Advertising

  • Grassroots Outreach: Build partnerships with immigrant advocacy organizations and Hispanic media outlets.
  • Paid Campaigns: Design and launch data-driven advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) based on rigorous market research and performance metrics.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive data to identify new market segments and growth opportunities.

5. Data-Driven Strategy & CEO Support

  • Decision Support: Act as the "Data Translator" for the CEO. Provide weekly/monthly reports focusing on Cost Per Lead (CPL), Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), and ROI per campaign.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Manage the marketing department’s operating budget, including forecasting and reallocating spend based on real-time performance data.
  • Long-Term Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term growth strategies and stay current on emerging marketing trends and AI tools.
  • End to End plan ownership: Responsible for the strategic planning, creation and actual execution of the firm’s overall marketing plan. You are the architect of the growth roadmap and the lead builder of its components.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in marketing (Professional services or immigration law experience is a significant plus).
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools), video editing software, CRM platforms, and Email Marketing software
  • Bilingual Preferred: Native or professional-level fluency in Spanish and English is preferred to ensure cultural authenticity, but not required.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to turn Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite data into actionable growth strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
