Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary leader to serve as the Director of Montessori Preschool. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of a dynamic Montessori curriculum that fosters independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. You will lead a dedicated team of educators, manage administrative functions, and cultivate a nurturing environment where young children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your strategic vision will ensure the preschool operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of educational excellence and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Montessori curriculum aligned with best practices and educational standards.
- Manage daily operations of the preschool, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with licensing regulations.
- Supervise and support teaching staff through mentoring, professional development, and performance evaluations to promote excellence in classroom instruction.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, community partners, and stakeholders through effective communication and public speaking engagements.
- Oversee fundraising initiatives to support program growth, facility enhancements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Develop strategic plans for program expansion and innovation while ensuring financial sustainability through budgeting and resource allocation.
- Promote a positive school culture that emphasizes leadership, teamwork, diversity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.
Experience
- Proven experience in education administration with a focus on early childhood or preschool settings.
- Extensive classroom teaching experience within Montessori or similar early childhood education frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored to young learners’ developmental stages.
- Strong management skills with experience supervising staff and leading teams effectively.
- Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, fundraising, and managing educational programs or institutions.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences including parents, community members, and staff.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
