Position Overview

The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving ANNA’s mission to deliver high-quality, neuroaffirming autism care at scale. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, this individual will oversee multi-site operational performance, support center growth and expansion, and ensure operational alignment with ANNA’s clinical and financial goals.

This leader will translate enterprise objectives into site-level execution—building systems, processes, and teams that support sustainable growth, high-quality care delivery, and operational excellence across ANNA’s network.

This is an opportunity to build a modern, tech-enabled, neuroaffirming autism services platform from the ground up—and make a lasting impact on children, families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

  • Partner with the SVP of Operations to translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans across centers.

  • Support the SVP in overseeing day-to-day performance of the operations department

  • Coordinate with center and regional leaders to implement playbooks, scheduling standards, and workflow optimizations that enhance efficiency.

  • Lead operational workstreams that improve center-level execution, utilization, and client experience.

2. Performance Management & Data Visibility

  • Develop, maintain, and action real-time operational dashboards to track and improve key metrics (e.g., utilization, staffing, client growth, margin).

  • Proactively analyze data trends and initiate performance improvement projects in collaboration with the SVP of Operations and clinical leadership.

  • Build operational playbooks processes to improve clinical quality, unit economics, and growth across sites.

  • Maintain performance accountability via real-time dashboards and reporting tools.

3. Process Design & Standardization

  • Design and implement core operational playbooks for real estate operations, scheduling, dashboarding, and other functions.

  • Collaborate with center operations teams to document and train staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Continuously evaluate and refine operational systems for scalability, efficiency, and alignment with ANNA’s clinical model.

  • Lead end-to-end location expansion: real estate, staffing, referrals and operations.

  • Create repeatable playbooks for selecting, opening, and ramping new centers under budget and on timeline.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with People Operations to align workforce planning and retention initiatives with operational performance goals.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure proactive staffing for growth and backfill needs.

  • Work closely with Community Outreach to ensure operational readiness supports referral growth and onboarding capacity.

  • Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to enhance communication, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure operations effectively enable clinical excellence.

5. Team & Culture Enablement

  • Serve as a connector and enabler across operational and clinical teams, ensuring alignment and information flow.

  • Model ANNA’s values through transparent communication, proactive problem-solving, and mission-driven collaboration.

  • Contribute to a culture of data-driven accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree optional.

    • 5–7 years of experience in multi-site healthcare operations, ideally in ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy.

    • Proven success in implementing systems, dashboards, and process improvements across complex organizations.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and financial acumen with proficiency in operations.

    • Skilled at building systems that balance efficiency with clinical quality.

    • Excellent communicator capable of partnering across departments and levels.

    • Hands-on operator who thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
