Director of Operations role for a firm that serves Wealth Management Groups

Location: Remote

Employment type: Part-time (with transition to full-time in the future)

Start Date: November 2025

Salary Range: TBD (based on experience & skillset)

Role Overview:

This company is a dynamic organization dedicated to empowering financial advisors by enhancing their leadership skills, optimizing business operations and driving growth within their Wealth Management Firms. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Operations to join our team on a part-time basis, with a planned transition to expand the role to become full time.

This role is pivotal in refining and shaping our operational infrastructure which will ensure seamless execution of our workflow and client deliverables, to elevate advisor success and increase team effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operational leadership, team leadership with experience within financial services being a plus.

Operational Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of operational processes to support our team internally and our client deliverables. This includes workflow optimization, simplification, and performance tracking.

Process Improvement: Analyze current workflow operations, recommend scalable solutions, and implement best practices to improve efficiency, transparency and maximize the effectiveness of our team.

Team Coordination: Work with team to align communication, priorities, resources and support services with plans to refine and established streamline operations.

Data and Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure success of operational and the firm, internally and externally.

Future Proofing: Establish foundational systems, document processes and scale operations to meet future demands and enhanced client experience.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership for the existing team by offering direction, performance evaluations and training to ensure alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

Experience:

· 4 + years in operations leadership

· Proven track record supporting team development and alignment

· Effective communication skills

Skills:

· Strong strategic planning and project management skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Analytical mindset

· Intuitive

Attributes:

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, intuitive, gifted problem solver, persistent, forward thinking, focused

Work Schedule and Transition:

· Part-time 10-15 hours/week to start, with a focus on strengthening infrastructure, stream-lining systems and allocating support for advisors and staff
