Director of Operations Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy:

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with Pivotal Systems' business objectives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving organizational goals.

Procurement and Vendor Management:

• Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Implement procurement best practices to optimize costs and enhance supplier performance.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory planning and forecasting, implementing strategies to minimize carrying costs while maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Implement robust inventory control measures to prevent discrepancies and shortages.

Logistics and Distribution:

• Streamline transportation and distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes and reduce transit times.

Team Leadership:

• Lead a high-performing, cross-functional supply chain team, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and contribution.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations, regularly assessing performance against benchmarks.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to executive leadership on supply chain performance and improvement opportunities.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to maintain Pivotal Systems' competitive advantage.

Risk Management:

• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
• Monitor external factors affecting the supply chain and proactively address challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (8+ years) in supply chain management with a focus on operations and logistics.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performance teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
