We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Organizational Advancement, a pivotal role dedicated to elevating our organization’s mission through innovative fundraising, relationship management, and strategic development initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including grant proposal writing, estate planning initiatives, and major gift campaigns to meet organizational goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of donor relations and relationship management, ensuring personalized engagement and stewardship across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Lead event planning efforts for fundraising galas, community outreach events, and educational programs, managing all logistics from concept through execution.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns utilizing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and WordPress to amplify organizational messaging across social media channels and email marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on database management using CRM software like Salesforce and Raiser's Edge to optimize data collection, reporting, and analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Cultivate partnerships with community organizations, university affiliates, and other stakeholders to expand outreach and collaborative opportunities.
  • Oversee budgeting processes for advancement activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining compliance with legal standards related to wills, trusts, estate law, and nonprofit regulations.
  • Lead volunteer management initiatives to support event execution and community engagement efforts.
  • Ensure the articulation of COMPASS’ desired image, position, and branding. Ensure consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization, and of image, position, and branding to all constituencies

Experience

  • Proven success in nonprofit management with extensive experience in fundraising, grant proposal writing, and donor stewardship.
  • Strong background in event planning and events management across diverse settings including galas, community events, or educational programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, WordPress, and social media management platforms.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems including Bloomerang and Benevity for data collection, analysis, and relationship management
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
