Director of Paid Advertising

Location: Hybrid Remote (Home-based with 2x monthly in-person requirements in South Jordan, UT)

The Best of Both Worlds

We embrace a remote-first culture that respects your deep-work time. However, we also value the energy of face-to-face collaboration. This role is primarily remote, but we gather at our South Jordan office at least twice a month for high-level strategy sessions. Because of this, candidates must reside within the Salt Lake City metropolitan area (Wasatch Front).

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Video) and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Strategic Research: Conduct thorough keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to fuel campaign growth.
  • Creative Collaboration: Write compelling ad copy and partner with our creative team to develop engaging visuals that convert.
  • Optimization & ROAS: Monitor performance, analyze key metrics, and relentlessly optimize campaigns to improve ROAS and hit client KPIs.
  • Advanced Tracking: Implement and troubleshoot conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4 event configurations, and platform-specific pixels to ensure data integrity.
  • Reporting: Provide regular, insightful reports that translate complex data into actionable narratives for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on digital advertising trends and test emerging platforms to keep our clients at the forefront.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven Track Record: Experience as a Digital Advertising Specialist, PPC Specialist, or a similar agency-side role.
  • Platform Mastery: Hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Data Accuracy: Demonstrable expertise in setting up and troubleshooting tracking pixels and conversion events.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make decisive, data-driven adjustments.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills—you can explain the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Agility: Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or Pinterest Ads.
  • Familiarity with GA4 and advanced analytics setups.
