Director of Preschool

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, credentialed Preschool Director to lead and elevate our early childhood program. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader to bring vision, fresh ideas, and thoughtful improvements to a growing preschool community.

The Director will oversee daily operations while guiding the continued development of our program’s culture, curriculum, and family engagement. We are looking for someone who values strong systems and compliance — but also enjoys building, refining, and enhancing a program to reach its fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily preschool operations, including enrollment, staffing, scheduling, and safety
• Ensure full compliance with Florida DCF licensing requirements and ELC guidelines
• Evaluate and strengthen curriculum implementation and classroom practices
• Lead, mentor, and develop teaching staff to foster a positive and professional team culture
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with families
• Support strategic growth, enrollment efforts, and program enhancements
• Maintain accurate records and administrative oversight

Qualifications

• Florida Director Credential (required)
• Experience as a Preschool/Childcare Director
• Strong working knowledge of DCF regulations
• Experience with Early Learning Coalition (ELC) programs preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to bring initiative, structure, and creative problem-solving
