Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience & Education)

Job Summary

St. Rose Catholic School is seeking a full-time Preschool/PK/TK Program Director to oversee two preschool classrooms. Under the direction of administration, the Director will supervise staff, manage program operations, ensure licensing compliance, support curriculum development, and foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Site Supervisor or Director’s Permit (or equivalent), or in process of obtaining through the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (required by Community Care Licensing)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children (required)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be 18 years or older

Upon Hiring – Required Clearances & Certifications

Must complete and maintain all Community Care Licensing requirements, including:

  • DOJ Live Scan & Background Clearance
  • TB Clearance
  • Required Immunizations (MMR, DTAP)
  • Health Screening
  • Mandated Reporter Training
  • Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
  • Completion of Diocese of Monterey Safe Environment Program
  • Fulfillment of California Preschool Licensing requirements

Essential Duties (Summary)

  • Direct and oversee daily preschool program operations
  • Supervise, evaluate, train, and support preschool staff
  • Ensure compliance with all State licensing regulations
  • Oversee enrollment and registration processes
  • Monitor curriculum implementation and classroom instruction
  • Coordinate communication with families and administration
  • Support budget oversight and facility needs
  • Maintain required documentation and records
  • Assist administration with school-wide initiatives

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $46,115.00 - $54,377.00 per year
