Overview
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Director of Preschool to lead our early childhood faith based education program with passion and purpose. This dynamic leadership role involves shaping a nurturing, innovative, and academically enriching environment for young learners. As the cornerstone of our preschool community, you will oversee all aspects of program development, staff management, and community engagement to ensure a vibrant, inclusive, and high-quality experience for children and families alike. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to fostering curiosity, growth, and joy in every classroom.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes early childhood development, creativity, and social-emotional learning.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand program offerings, improve educational standards, and enhance community outreach efforts.
- Manage the preschool’s budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support educational excellence and operational sustainability.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate teaching staff and administrative personnel to maintain high standards of classroom instruction and management.
- Oversee daily operations including classroom supervision, health and safety protocols, and compliance with licensing regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events to foster trust and collaboration.
- Lead fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities for grants, donations, or partnerships that support program growth and innovation.
- Serve as substitute teacher when needed.
- Collaborate with church leadership on chapel programming.
Qualifications
- Degree or proven experience in education administration or preschool management with a strong background in early childhood education.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Extensive supervisory experience managing diverse teams of educators and staff.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, fundraising, and organizational leadership.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire staff, engage families, and represent the preschool confidently in public settings.
- Classroom teaching experience with young children is essential; familiarity with current early childhood education standards is preferred.

Pay: $18,000.00 - $20,000.00 per year
