Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Preschool to lead and inspire our early childhood education program. Duties
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the preschool, aligning goals with organizational mission and values
- Develop and implement innovative curricula that promote developmental milestones, creativity, and social-emotional learning
- Oversee daily operations, including staff management, classroom supervision, and student engagement activities
- Lead fundraising efforts to secure resources for program enhancements, facility improvements, and special projects
- Manage the preschool budget effectively, ensuring fiscal responsibility while maintaining high-quality standards
- Supervise teaching staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities
- Foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and support
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and educational policies
Experience
- Proven experience in education administration or preschool management with a minimum of several years in leadership roles
- Extensive background in curriculum development tailored to early childhood education
- Demonstrated success in fundraising activities and resource development within educational settings
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to set clear objectives and execute initiatives effectively
- Experience managing budgets, staffing, and supervising teams in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences through public speaking and community outreach
- Classroom teaching experience with young children is highly desirable to inform effective leadership decisions
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
