Summary
The Revenue Director at Hotel La Croix is responsible for leading the property’s revenue strategy to maximize profitability while honoring the hotel’s commitment to delivering an elevated hospitality experience rooted in love and aloha. This role oversees pricing optimization, demand forecasting, distribution channel management, and performance analytics to drive RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy growth in Hawaiʻi’s competitive tourism market.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, and Executive Leadership, the Revenue Director ensures data-driven decision-making aligns with the hotel’s ethos of blending Mother Nature’s gifts with human ingenuity. By leveraging market intelligence, competitive analysis, and advanced revenue systems, this position strengthens financial performance while maintaining the integrity of the guest experience.

Qualifications
- Strategic pricing and demand forecasting expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret market trends and competitor positioning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Cross-department collaboration (Sales, Marketing, Front Office)
- Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) (preferred)
- CHRM (Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager) (preferred)
Prerequisites
- Revenue Management Systems (RMS)
- Property Management Systems (Opera, OnQ, etc.)
- STR reports and market benchmarking tools
- Excel (advanced modeling & forecasting)
- Data analytics and performance dashboards
- Strong financial forecasting and budgeting skills
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room rates and occupancy levels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to make informed pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on revenue performance for senior management.
- Supervise the reservations, sales and marketing team to ensure high standards of guest relations and service delivery.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on revenue management principles and practices also monthly internal meetings with guest experience regarding upsells and upgrade revenue strategies.
- Utilize various software tools for forecasting and reporting purposes.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests to enhance loyalty and repeat business.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or Hospitality Management) preferred but not required
Experience:
- 3+ years as a revenue manager or director for a hotel group
- 5+ years in hotel leadership (sales or operations)
- Prior experience as Revenue Manager, Senior Revenue Manager, or Director of Revenue
- Experience with revenue management systems for flagged properties preferred
- Experience with boutique properties with multiple room types preferred
- Experience in resort, luxury, or high-occupancy markets preferred
- Proven success increasing ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability
