Director of Product Planning and Analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze sales metrics, profitability, and sales trends in past and current periods to forecast future sales;

- Identify shortages and overstocks, and identify leading patterns;

- Develop a product plan based on data analysis and feedback from merchandisers, including full balance sheet planning (sales, write-offs, inventory, and receipts) at the product category level;

- Work with the assortment planning team to determine sales and supply volumes at the attribute level for each product category within the Product Plan;

- Manage and optimize the Open-to-Buy process to achieve maximum inventory efficiency during the season;

- Oversee timely order fulfillment;

- Work with the merchandising team to ensure product margins and meet sales plans;

- Identify and implement new opportunities to increase sales and profitability;

- Manage the planning team, providing training and development for employees, and providing opportunities to optimize the team's strengths; Reviewing and proposing markdowns, monitoring product lifecycles and target sales;

- Participation in the initial product distribution to increase turnover and meet sales plans.

CANDIDATES' REQUIREMENTS:

- More than 5 years of experience in retail planning (preferably in the fashion industry);

- Excellent analytical and communication skills;

- Proficient in Excel and upper-intermediate English;

- Experience in team management and strategy development.
