Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Purchase - Premium Cigars, based in Miami, FL. The Director of Purchase will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cigar purchasing, from selecting premium cigars to negotiating with suppliers, in coordination with CEO. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining inventory levels, forecasting demand, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality products. The role also involves cultivating relationships with suppliers and working closely with the sales team to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand. The director of purchase will be in charged of negotiating better price with our suppliers, negotiating deals and free products for our marketing campaign, proposing in store promotional events to our suppliers, training our staff on new and existing products, find solution with our marketing department and suppliers to better manage overstock. Neptune is a state of the art technology company and already has all tools needed to perform efficient purchasing policy, the director should have extensive knowledge of the cigar industry and current products pricing.

Qualifications

• Strong purchasing, negotiation, and vendor management skills
• Experience in inventory management and demand forecasting
• Knowledge of market trends and product quality assessment
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the Premium Cigar industry, preferably in purchasing department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
