Location: 1320 S. Solano

Position: Full-Time; Salaried/Exempt

Salary: $80,000.00 - Negotiated (3 levels based on experience and education)

Reports To: Senior Director of Operations


Job Summary

This role owns the quality and compliance side of how FYI+ delivers services. Will make sure we're meeting state and federal requirements, passing audits, catching problems early, and constantly improving how we do our work. You'll supervise our Quality Improvement Manager and work closely with our Director of Data Management as well as our CCBHC Program Director and Medical Director. This is a leadership position — you'll spend as much time coaching your team and influencing the organization as you will doing hands-on quality work.


What You'll Do:

Lead the Quality Team

  • Set team priorities and ensure quality and data efforts are aligned
  • Represent quality in leadership discussions and strategic planning
  • Supervise and develop the Quality Improvement Manager
  • Partner closely with the CCBHC Program Director and support operational projects tied to CCBHC requirements

Ensure Organizational Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with Medicaid, state behavioral health, and CCBHC standards
  • Prepare for and manage audits, site visits, and follow‑up actions
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, grievances, and appeals
  • Maintain the organizational risk register and lead sentinel event debriefings

Drive Quality Improvement

  • Oversee audit tools, monitoring processes, and performance indicators across programs
  • Lead improvement plans using structured methods (e.g., PDSA)
  • Ensure client voice and experience inform quality measures

Communicate Results

  • Present quality data to leadership, the Board, and funders in clear, accessible language
  • Represent FYI+ in external quality networks
  • Support grant reporting with quality and outcome data

What You Need:

Education

  • Master's degree in health informatics, public health, data science, business analytics, or a related field (doctorate a plus)

Experience

  • At least 7 years working in quality improvement or compliance in behavioral health or healthcare
  • At least 5 years supervising a team
  • Experience with CCBHC or similar integrated care models is a strong plus
  • Has led or been through external audits or accreditation reviews

Preferred but not required

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of New Mexico's behavioral health system
  • Experience building a quality program from scratch
  • Valid NM driver's license and reliable transportation required
