Director of Rehabilitation-In House

We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) with a clinical background as a:

• Physical Therapist (PT)
• Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

to lead and support our in-house therapy team.

This leadership role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while driving team performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The DOR will oversee daily therapy operations, mentor staff, and partner with facility leadership to achieve strong clinical and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily therapy operations, scheduling, and caseload management
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations
• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with nursing and facility leadership to coordinate resident care
• Manage therapy department budgeting and productivity standards
• Support staff development, mentoring, and continuing education
• Maintain accurate documentation and billing compliance

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Physical Therapist (PT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred
• Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A and B regulations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for patient-centered care and team collaboration
