Director of Sales

We are currently seeking a highly driven Director of Sales to join and lead our Business Development team. This role offers the opportunity to join an established company with a rapidly growing new market delivering, industry-leading methane and multi-gas detection to customers in the fastest-growing and most dynamic sector in Energy. Not only will you generate your own sales work, you will be expected to actively contribute to our marketing efforts, increase our thought leadership, visibility, and reputation. This position offers a competitive base salary combined with commission rewards bases on your performance as well as your team’s performance.

Performance Objectives

· Develop all sales activities and execute annual sales targets for new client acquisition in the land operator’s market.

· Develop effective relationships with executives at oil & gas companies to identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities which lead to continued growth.

· Proactively identify new and different business opportunities.

· Deliver client feedback to marketing and product development teams for improved product support and development.

· Attend industry trade shows, relevant conferences, and client meetings with travel up to 50%.

Competitive Candidate Profile

· Proven experience in the oilfield services sector (5+ years) selling to oil & gas operator executive teams.

· Knowledge of the methane detection and mitigation space is a plus.

· The intangibles include being driven by results, high goal-orientation, working with urgency, and agility.

· Must know outside sales and the ability to prospect new opportunities with the ability to demonstrate expertise in an enterprise sales process (Discovery, value proposition, buying process, decision-makers, risk mitigation, retention, and closing).

· Being able to oversee sales team and insuring they are motivated and equipped to meet their goals

  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.

This role is eligible for: Variable Compensation, Medical Benefits, and 401K.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
