Our services encompass pre-season planning, proactive storm monitoring, plowing, de-icing, and post-event reporting, all executed with precision, accountability, and compliance oversight. Position Overview

The Director of Sales is a leadership role at Glenhaven Snow Company, reporting directly to the President. This individual will oversee all sales and marketing activities, leading the company’s growth through a structured, data-driven, and customer-focused approach.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a clear, measurable sales and marketing plan that drives both new business acquisition and customer retention. This includes performing direct sales outreach to targeted prospects, cultivating and expanding relationships with existing customers, and ensuring that every initiative aligns with Glenhaven’s brand standards and operational excellence.

Using a combination of market research, data mining, and analysis of historical sales performance, the Director will identify new market opportunities, build prospect pipelines, and make informed decisions that guide strategy. The role will also involve building and managing a high-performing sales program and team, leveraging the company’s CRM system to ensure consistent tracking, reporting, and accountability.

Ultimately, this leader will develop and execute a comprehensive sales program, transforming data insights into actionable strategy and measurable results that drive Glenhaven’s continued growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to company-wide growth and planning.
  • Lead Sales and Marketing as one unified, results-driven organization.
  • Implement and refine Glenhaven’s annual sales plan, growth targets, and market expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with all other company functions to align pricing, capacity, and delivery with sales commitments.
  • Use analytics and performance data to guide strategy, measure outcomes, and drive efficiency.

Sales & Business Development

  • Manage key client relationships and lead high-value portfolio acquisitions (retail, corporate, office, industrial, medical, commercial)
  • Lead RFP strategies, bid responses, and presentations for major accounts.
  • Oversee sales functions, ensuring CRM accuracy, strong follow-up, and consistent processes.
  • Utilize CRM and proprietary technology to monitor sales activity, pipeline health, and ROI.

Marketing Oversight

  • Oversee all Marketing to ensure alignment between campaigns, messaging, branding, internal tools, and sales goals.
  • Direct content strategy for social media, email campaigns, and targeted outreach.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and campaign ROI
  • Support brand development
  • Track and enhance online presence and growth

Cross Department Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations to ensure seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Estimating on pricing, pricing structure, and sales processes to ensure accurate order entry and timely bid delivery.
  • Oversee and manage CRM pipeline.
  • Work with IT to integrate technology into sales related functions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or communications-based roles.
  • Strong understanding of service-based, logistics, or infrastructure industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing)
  • Proficient in CRM and data analytics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Results-oriented, adaptable, and data-focused leadership style.
  • Thorough understanding of OneDrive and skilled use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000.00 +
  • Compensation includes a performance incentive aligned with meeting or exceeding annual sales objectives.
