About Kind Creative

Kind Creative is a mission-driven marketing agency dedicated to elevating healthcare companies through data-driven, transparent, and altruistic digital marketing strategies. Our work helps healthcare providers connect with the people who need them most — often during critical, life-changing moments. We specialize in behavioral health, addiction treatment, and purpose-driven healthcare spaces where empathy, trust, and clarity are non-negotiable.

At Kind, we’re not just marketers — we’re collaborators, builders, and advocates for better outcomes. We believe great marketing starts with understanding people. That’s why we lead with empathy, strategy, and creative courage — crafting campaigns that not only perform, but resonate.

Our culture is deeply people-first, both in the way we serve our clients and in how we support our team. We value curiosity, integrity, and kindness as much as we value performance. We’re a remote-friendly, growth-focused team that believes in healthy boundaries, open communication, and doing work that genuinely matters.

If you’re looking for a place where impact meets intention, where your ideas will be heard, and where you’ll help reshape how healthcare brands connect with their communities — we’d love to meet you.

Overview
We’re looking for an SEO Director to lead the strategic development and performance of our SEO team. In this role, you’ll oversee a group of SEO Managers, drive high-level strategy across all accounts, and ensure excellence in execution, reporting, and results. You’ll be responsible for setting best practices, refining processes, and mentoring the team to deliver measurable growth in visibility, traffic, and qualified leads for our healthcare clients.

This role is ideal for a senior SEO leader who thrives in building high-performing teams, guiding scalable systems, and staying at the forefront of search innovation — all in service of brands that truly make a difference.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record managing high-impact campaigns, ideally in local B2C lead generation — experience in the behavioral health or healthcare space is a strong plus
  • A well-rounded SEO skill set, including technical optimization, content strategy, local SEO, and off-page authority building (you know how to build a strategy and guide your team to execute it)
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, guide multiple team members, and ensure key deliverables stay on track across multiple accounts
  • A passion for mentorship, team development, and operational excellence — you’re just as excited about refining internal systems as you are about ranking wins
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate SEO insights into language that internal stakeholders and clients can understand and act on

  • Technical SEO Excellence: Ensure websites follow best practices for site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and page speed. Work with developers to implement structured data, canonical tags, and other technical elements.
  • Content Strategy Integration: Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute SEO-driven content strategies, ensuring alignment with search intent and business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain automated reporting systems to track key SEO KPIs, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rates, and conversion rates.
  • KPI Tracking & Accountability: Implement systems for tracking SEO performance, including automated alerts and regular performance reviews to ensure client expectations are met.
