Director of Social & Content Strategy

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-level Director of Social & Content Strategy to lead the strategic vision, execution, and growth of our digital content ecosystem. This is not a posting role—it is a business-driving leadership position responsible for turning content into measurable brand growth, audience expansion, and revenue impact.

This role blends creative direction, content strategy, audience psychology, and performance analytics into one unified function. This role is in office with travel required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Own and develop the entire social media content strategy
  • Align content with business objectives, brand positioning, and revenue goals
  • Identify platform-specific growth opportunities (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Translate brand vision into scalable content systems

2. Content Direction & Execution Oversight

  • Lead ideation for high-performing, story-driven content
  • Direct content shoots, campaigns, and creative production
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and positioning
  • Oversee editorial calendar and content pipelines

3. Growth & Performance Optimization

  • Own KPIs: audience growth, engagement, conversions, and reach
  • Analyze performance data and continuously refine strategy
  • Implement testing frameworks (hooks, formats, messaging, funnels)
  • Identify and capitalize on trends early

4. Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a team of:
  • Content creators
  • Videographers/editors
  • Social media managers
  • Establish workflows, accountability, and performance standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership

5. Brand & Market Positioning

  • Elevate brand authority and digital presence
  • Develop content that positions leadership as industry thought leaders
  • Ensure consistency across all public-facing platforms

6. Travel & On-Site Content Capture

  • Travel for events, campaigns, and brand activations
  • Lead or oversee real-time content production
  • Capture high-value moments that drive engagement and storytelling

Qualifications

Required

  • 7–10+ years in social media, content, or digital marketing
  • Proven track record of scaling social platforms and audiences
  • Experience leading content strategy at a high level (not just execution)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Content psychology
  • Viral frameworks
  • Platform algorithms
  • Experience managing teams and creative workflows

Preferred

  • Experience in personal brand, education, or high-ticket industries
  • Background in video-first content strategy
  • Ability to connect content to revenue outcomes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
